Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup pickles, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (8 pieces) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Cooking spray

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it's no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add salt, pepper, chopped onions, and pickles. Stir to combine and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before mixing in the cheddar cheese.
  5. Take each biscuit and flatten it out using your hand or a rolling pin. Place a heaped tablespoon of the beef mixture in the center of each biscuit.
  6. Fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal and forming a ball. Place the stuffed biscuits seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and parmesan cheese. Brush the tops of each bomb generously with the garlic parmesan butter mixture.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the bombs are golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra burst of flavor, add a teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture while cooking. This will enhance the savory taste of your Cheeseburger Bombs!
